I am currently a PhD student in the Department of Endocrinology at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. Most of my research was related to ovarian stem cells and earliest stages of folliculogenesis including oocyte maturation. My bachelor thesis was about application of stem cells in tissue engineering. The aim of my master thesis was designed to develop a modern and efficient method for isolation of Putative Stem Cells (PSCs) from the ovarian cortex.

I decide to carry on my studies on hormonal and molecular mechanisms involved in the regulation of female reproduction. Therefore, the main objective of dissertation is to elucidate whether exposure to selected endocrine active compounds (EACs) during in vitro maturation (IVM) of porcine oocytes affects the regulatory network involved in their proper development and functioning, consequently causing their premature aging.
